WHO’S  WHO

Interim Priests

(From the 15th July)

Associate Priest

Father Tony Hutchinson SSC
07980 883193

The Churchwardens are elected at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, not only to be the people’s representatives, but also to serve in a lay capacity as Bishop’s Officers

They have a particular brief for the fabric and buildings of the Church, but also share in the pastoral care of all the parishioners, as well as keeping the clergy under control! They are generally responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the parishes and overseeing the maintenance of the church building and hopefully the smooth running of the church. In this capacity, churchwardens are considered the leading lay member of the congregation. The are always available to answer any queries or to give further information about the diversity and breadth of life at St Martin’s and St Stephen’s.
